I had a horrible day today. Well, actually it was a pretty good day except for one incident at work (doesn't it make you mad when you can only focus on the bad stuff?). Anyway, to make a long story short, I'm a manager at a Blockbuster and I had a woman yelling at me via her daughter's pink cell phone  . She rented a movie over a month ago, which means she owns it now and she has to pay for it, and she didn't want to except that. Anyway, I'm the type of person who hates confrontation. My life has always been pretty run of the mill and I like it that way. So in these situations, which are very new to me, I get frustrated and angry which brings me to the point of this post. Whenever I get frustrated or really angry or when someone else gets really angry with me, I cry  . I can't help it, the tears just won't be refused. It makes me think of a quote Bella once said about her tearducts being hardwired to her emotions or something. Can anyone out there tell me which book that was in and what the exact quote was? It's been driving me crazy all day.

I was a CSR at Blockbuster during High School - I can totally relate to how you feel! I really hated that job. I am also the same way. My face gets real red and cry.

I'm the exact same way and I HATE it. I feel like it makes me look like a woosy, you know? I just can't help it. My emotions are linked with the tears, and they all come at once.

Ah, It makes me feel so much better to know I'm not the only one this happens to. I hate seeming weak when I know I'm not.

I'll have to get my copy of Twilight out and find that part. I remember the first time I read that quote and relating to her immediately.

The quote is on page 25 of Twilight. "I began gathering up my things slowly, trying to block the anger that filled me, for fear my eyes would tear up. For some reason, my temper was hardwired to my tear ducts. I usually cried when I was angry, a humiliating tendency." I am the exact same way, and I hate it! My mom says I wear my heart on my sleave.

Ditto. Went thru it this AM right before going to the bank to talk about my account. Hate feeling helpless and angry like that.

Me too, I've always been labeled as "too sensitive" - oh well, better that than a jerk I guess. :D
