I live Downriver and right off 275! A Twilight get together would be great! Is anyone going to any release parties?

I also want to throw a date out there for the possible get together. Would anyone be available for a luncheon July 27th? It would be just before the release. We could shoot for maybe 2pm or so and would need to decide on a meet up place. Fire away with suggestions or opinions

I am going to the Borders in Southland for the release. I already reserved 2 books from them. (I don't like sharing!!)

I'm not sure about the release parties yet. I might be out of town visiting family in the Lansing area.

Welcome lb and ibelievealice. Great to see more MI TMs.

Not certain yet about the book release. I hope to be available for the July 27 lunch. My schedule the next couple of months will be a bit unpredictable, but I will be there if at all possible. Off hand, I believe there is a Max and Erma's in Laurel Park mall and an Applebees on Haggerty.

Don't know if anyone else has heard this...I didn't find anything else about it going back a page or two here, but there's a Breaking Dawn release party at the Borders bookstore on Hall Road (I believe that puts it in Shelby Twp.) on Aug.1 starting at 10pm.
There's a masquerade party and prizes, they're giving a copy of the book away. Sounds like it'll be fun. You can call and reserve a copy for that night to be waiting for you....just have to give them your name, phone number, and address.
My firend saw "invites" for the party a couple days ago at the store while she was there, and called to let me know about it. We'll be there. So, I thought I'd share

If you have tickets to see the amazing Stephenie Meyer in Chicago, we are planning a mini TM meet up before the events for a light dinner. Something close to the theater so people in hotels can walk. We will have more information on the time and place.

Please PM me if you are interested so I can get a head count.

We should try to plan a post BD meet up (: I'd love to have a meet up in December but the roads here in the north aren't the best that time of year.... so maybe we can plan a p MI post BD meet up? Let me know what you all think. It's beautiful where I live but I'm totally biased AND I don't mind road trips.

I live in the lower southeast corner of Michigan...I live in St. Clair Shores, But i spend a lot of time downriver--Taylor, Dearborn, etc. PM me if something is getting planned..I really need to meet some other Twilight fans..my friends think I am crazy :lol:
