I couldnt find the twilight tee that I wanted, so I decided to make my own. This is my first attempt at screen printing. It's super easy. The instructions can be found at http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/3674467.html
The most time consuming part is making the screens, but they are reusable!

This one was made for a friend who loves pink
Here are my screens

I just wanted to share this easy project!

thanks!

someone posted a link to the font a while back
you can get it here: http://www.esnips.com/web/allyblablablasStuff
(here is the thread where they talk about how to save it, etc, if you are not sure http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.or ... t3405.html)

It really is super easy. One of my friends has screen printed several shirts for her little boy. They have held up well in the wash.

Love the Idea!! I actually just came across that same site a few weeks ago when I was looking for sreen printing "how to's" and this one is GREAT! I am glad to see it worked for you! What kind of paint did you use? Or did you use actual screen printing ink?

I used the Speedball Opaque screen printing ink. It gives it a little sheen. I really like the raspberry color.

On my first trial run I used 'citrine'. it's yellow. I didn't care for how it looked on the black shirt.

i think I am going to do a red shirt with silver writing next.

I actually saw this same site last month when I was making shirts for The Host signing. I love it, the instructions were so easy to follow, and now I absolutely love making shirts! I always use the Tulip brand Soft fabric paint, it's worked really well for me.

I've really been wanting to make a Twilight shirt with that font, so thanks for posting this! :D

you are welcome! If you do any, post the pics!!

I did another one, but i didnt like how it turned out.
I think I am going to stack the Team Edward instead of putting them side by side.

I'll try to post a picture if it turns out better :)

What kind of material did you use for the screens? And glue? And paint?
