I can't wait to read about the time he spent in Denali when he ran away from bella. I want to be in his head while he is driving to Alaska and trying to resist the urge to turn around and kill Bella. It must have taken incredible will power to just leave, but I'm sure that he was beating himself up the whole time for being a coward. Talk about not seeing yourself clearly!

I just finished re-vamping for the...hmm...never mind-I lost count. Anyway, I keep catching hints at things each time I re-vamp. Like when did Alice first see Bella as a vampire? Edward mentions somewhere that they argued after Tyler's crash that it was time. And again in the dance studio, Alice says something to the effect of "you have to do it now." I'm sure at that point she is telling him he has to bite Bella again to help her change, but was that what they argued about after Tyler's crash, too? And even in the first chapter of MS she says something as he drops her off at the house that made me think she already knew. It will be interesting to see how long he lived with Alice's vision before he even began to consider it as a possibility. He is so dang stubborn!

Remember Alice was on Edward's side after Tyler's crash. I'm sold on the premise that Alice, Edward and Carlisle didn't want Edward to kill Bella after the crash but Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett were trying to talk Edward into killing her after Edward saved her from the van because they were worried that Bella would expose them for who they were. Remember, Esme just wanted Edward to do what he had to do in order to stay with them.

I think you're right about the other, Alice wanted Edward to go ahead and change Bella after James had bitten her. IMHO Alice sees Edward change Bella as soon as she knows about Bella. I can't wait to find out in MS!

I've been thinking about Alice's first vision too. We know it was in part that Bella would become one of them, but we've never got the WHOLE vision. I'm sure BD will reveal it, but just when DID she order the wedding dress? I'll bet it was about the time E started "breaking all the rules." What do you think? I just think her vision is about a lot more than Bella being changed. . .

Revamping Twilight and one more scene that really has me intrigued is during the video in Biology. I really, really wonder what is going through his head with all the electricity and sparks flying.

What is he ambivalent about? WHAT on earth is going through his head here?

Since ambivalent means "having conflicted attitudes and feelings", I think Edward is uncertain whether what he is doing is right. By this point, he has decided that he will not kill her and has told her that he is breaking all the rules. But, when he feels the electricity during the movie, he wonders if he can really take the relationship any further. He has never felt anything like what he feels for Bella, and knowing how breakable she is, he is doubting himself. Just like he doubts himself through all 3 books. I can't wait to read this part to know exactly what his thoughts are!

very well put, e_o! i'm quite sure it was his very first time to feel that kind of "electricity" with someone in his whole existence (both as human and vampire). at that point he probably wasn't sure how to take this feeling, how to interpret it exactly, in the first place. of course there's still that struggle between what he wants to do and what he has to do. he had so many things to be confused about.

I am so there with you on Alice ordering the dress right away. I am troubled by her vision of Bella changed though. All it will take is one event, one person changing their mind to completely change the vision she keeps having.
And isn't that the beauty of it. You can't possibly know. SM is amazing!

The electricity thing I totally get. It will be fantastic to read Edward's pros. and see what he is calculating over that hour.

Me too! I know she calls it 'electricity' but I wonder what he would call it? Strangely, they never talk about it. Which leads me to believe that he thinks it's physical attraction too and back in Twilight he would never have let the physical side go very far for fear of hurting her. Maybe that's why they never talk about it. I so want to know what he is thinking!!

I wonder if part of the reason he doesn't talk about it is that he is scared of freaking her out. He has no way to know that she felt the exact same thing, and knowing how much Edward doubts himself, he probably doesn't realize that Bella feels the intensity just as much as he does. Perhaps he is scared that if he mentions how it felt to him, she will suddenly get overwhelmed with the situation and take off. He is always waiting for her to get scared and run anyway! I think by this point he is so attached to her that the thought of scaring her away is very frightening to him, even though he always tells her she should run. He is extremely conflicted about doing the right thing versus doing what he wants. Maybe this was a subject he just couldn't bear to broach??

today, what i badly want to see in MS are those six weeks that edward was avoiding bella after he saves her from tyler's van. what inspired this sudden desire to read about this period of time was actually the recent twilight tuesday clip where we see edward evading bella's persistent effort to talk to him post-van incident.

those 6 weeks were not really discussed that much in TW. i'd love to hear edward's thoughts on his deliberate evasion of bella, the exact ways in which he controlled the bloodlust he must have still been feeling quite strongly then, his realizations and musings when he discovered that he's starting to feel genuinely interested in her. upon realizing his attraction, he must have done a lot eavesdropping on other people's thoughts just to learn more about bella. it might be funny to read about how he uses his powers (for the first time, i would think:)) for such a purpose.

I also what to hear the family's discussion/thoughts about the whole first part from when he goes to Alaska and comes back.

PLUS I don't want MS to end where TW does. I want it to cover the time leading up to the BD party.

Just what did happen all summer?

This is kinda silly and random, but I really want to find out what Edward did with Bella's lemonade top that he kept. Did he keep it with him as a reminder of her? Did he take it out of his pocket intermittently to play with it and think of her? Did he just throw it away? It is such a sweet gesture, such a human gesture

I really want to know how Edward felt afer Bella told Mike no in Biology about the prom and he decided to go to her room that night. What really changed his mind and how was he feeling?
