oh oh Im gonna read this one. It does sound like a fun read. I think I will stop by Target and Walmart and see if they have it.

I feel horrible though, I bought The Host and Im still trying to get past the first chapter. What is wrong with me? Im really trying ot get into it.

I think we needed to feel the dis-orientation in the first chapters the same way Wanderer does, so when things start to come together we're literally "on the same page". I kept reading because I knew it would become clearer and what a pay-off!!!! Find a quiet place and go with the flow, you'll understand it better when you're reading it THE SECOND TIME

It took me a while to get into the Host -I was afraid I wouldn't like it. But although it does have a slow beginning the story quickly picks up. I would just power through the first part of the story, and trust me you won't be able to put it down once you get halfway into it.

I'm excited this month's pick is Memories of a Teenage Amnesiac - I read it several months back and really liked it. In fact, I liked it so much I ordered the author's first book Elsewhere too. (I didn't know she had another one as well - I'll have to look into it.) It's a really quick light read!

Hi. She has another book the title is: Margattown. But let me tell you it’s not a book for everyone is a really emotional journey /haha/. Check it in the author website … here: http://www.memoirsofa.com/

I just picked up the book this past week and I must say that I am really enjoying the book. I'm approximately half way through it. Thanks to Stephenie for introducing me, at least, to a new author. I will definitely pickup "Elsewhere" by Gabrielle.

Yeah, my copy from Amazon finally arrived today (took long enough). Oh wel, better late than never. I've got it on my list to read this weekend so hopefully I can discuss with those of you who have read it before we move on to a new book.

I am a little late on this one. Just got the book from the library on Monday, but I am about half way through. So far I like it. I cannot wait to see what happens!

I am so grateful for this book of the month thread! It has introduced me to author's & books that I may or may not have found and it has allowed me to get into books again. I love the discussions. In my small town I cannot seem to find a book group that would be interested in a lot of the books I have been turned on to here. Thanks again! :D
