Okay...here goes. Trying to figure out if my sizing is correct.

Can't seem to get my avatar to work, though. I'm betting I need to resize it. Hmm.....

I have heaps of pictures to choose from but even the tiny ones its telling me there too big or the wrong format ie JPG

How do u get the pictures uder your messages??

Im not avatar literate sorry LOL

You can measure the pixels of an image by right clicking on the image, scrolling down to properties at the bottom of the list. This will bring up a box that will show you the dimensions of the image. Dimension shown = length x height

You can change the dimensions (pixels) of an image in any photo editing program, including PhotoBucket. Select your image, click "edit image" then "resize" and enter the new pixel numbers next to "new size".

Also please make sure that signatures and avatars are PG rated. Many of us have children in the room while we are on the computer and don't want to be embarassed by what pops up!

I have tried several avatars,all from photobucket but none will work. It says they are too big or could not reach URL. I have even tried the same one from someone elses profile and it would not let me use it. It still said it was too big. I dont get it at all.plesae save me from insanity!!

Are you saving them to your own photobucket acct and then trying to link here?

I'm having the same problem. The site keeps telling me that they are all to big and that I need to make them smaller then 80x80. What do I do?
