I'd rather not have a wake-up call like that again!

I shot out of bed and went right to the kids rooms and was scared to death that they would be scared and my dear son screams...."mom, that was totally cool". I missed my 30 minutes of sleep and they weren't even scared! Go figure! I remember the one in '87...anyone else?

I remember the '87 one although I was living in Cincinnati at the time and I don't think it was quite as strong down there as it was in other places. I'm just glad there was no damage or injuries. :D

I almost injured myself screaming out of bed! Does that count! I'm such a dork! I'm so glad I'm from dreary Indiana where wondering if it will be 30 degrees and snowing or 85 degrees with a tornado is normal! I would never survive in Cali!

Egads...I can't believe we had an earthquake! It sounded like a train (but a bit quieter) was rumbling under our house and completely freaked out our cats. Poor things wouldn't come out for a half hour.

As I was telling my hubby, it's kinda funny that I didn't experience an earthquake during our time in California but instead got the opportunity to experience one here in Indiana. Go figure. :D

I can only imagine how much worse it was for you guys in southern Indiana...it was bad enough here to wake me up but I instantly fell back asleep thinking I was having a dream or something! My cat was a little upset as well...my oldest son never woke up and my youngest just thought he was shivering because he was cold! :) KIDS!!

Hi IN moms, I just wanted to pop over and see how many of you there were and say hello. I'm in Tulsa, OK now, but I'm from IN originally and miss it very much. I see a bunch of you are in the Hamilton county area. I grew up in Westfield. My mom is in Noblesville now, after moving back from Ft Worth last year. We've been here 11 years, and I still miss home.

Thanks! Actually, it's not too bad as far as distance. Takes us about 12-14 hours to drive, depending on how many stops we have to make (4 kids under 8  ).

Hi fellow Hoosier Twilightmoms! I'm from Anderson (45 min northeast of Indy). I'm new to the site, and am thrilled to see not only other moms who love Twilight, but other Indiana moms too!
