NoVa/MD/DC get together #5 info pg 13

Hello All,
We would like to plan a get together for the Moms that are in the metro DC area (or are up to driving in).

How does May 31st sound?

Anyone else available?

I keep getting my days mixed up, but for those that plan on attending please PM either Me or Amanda31 so we can make sure the reservation is set.

We were thinking DC for a central location, but if we only get TMs from one state or the other, we can determine the best location for those who can come! Hopefully this date will work for a lot of people.

I'm in! There are many places to stay in Nova if people are interested in an overnight - I grew up in Springfield. Do we need rooms or do we anticipate just day trips?

Yay for people that are willing to attend. Smile

So I was thinking a day activity but I know Cathy was planning on taking a train in and staying the night on Sat. I figure we could do afternoon/evening activities, depending on who is available at what time. Those that want to stay the night could probably spit the cost for hotel rooms.

now on to activities...I figure food has to be involved in at least one activity...any other suggestions of things to do?

Having had reason to stay in the DC area recently, we found a little gem of a hotel. Weekend rates were much cheaper than other hotels, ($119 per night) and it's within walking distance to the metro. A restaurant is also within walking distance. For those that would like a place to stay in the DC area, it might work depending on where the main group meets.
