Movie or Midnight Sun?

yeah, i've always been a book person. so i want MS more than i want the movie, but because of the wonderful casting, not to mention all the work they've so far put into it, the film is running a very close second, pretty much the way it is in the poll here.

Yeah, that's the way it is for me too. MS, then the movie, then BD. Which is really crazy because we are going to get it the other way around but I can be patient. I will be patient! I must be patient!!

I have posted here before but I think that words will convey so much more to our understanding than the movie with all its tweeking and artistic interpretations.

The book, the book, the book! I'm actually sort of scared of the movie, I have things in my head the way I like them, I'm afraid the movie will change that to just seeing them as they are in the movie. But to be able to see inside Edward's mind, THAT will be truly DAZZLING!

I have a little bit of fear of the movie as well. I hate the picture of Rob on Entertainment Weekly. They just have no idea how Edward is supposed to look to me and my idea of him.

To be quite honest about EW, I think that is a snippit of whats to come in Breaking Dawn, the new vampire couple, come on Midnight Sun shows how dark Edward really is. He is that menacing. I love how Rob has read it and says hes not the good guy. But I want to agree with you on the point of the movie!

The book the book the book. The movie is differnt from the books and they admit that. They are taking out things and compiling things together into one scene here or there. Its not Edwards mind. The book, UGGG, I want it more than BD so bad!

I will have to say the movie, but that's just cause I work in film production and I'm a movie freak. I have this really weird issue with people who are bad on screen kissers*, when I see kissing that just looks gross or just plain bad it ruins that scene for me any time I see the movie again. Being that anal and having some free time on my hands I went in search of scenes where Rob Pattinson or Kristen Stewart are kissing -- other actors of course. Kristen pulls it off just fine in IN THE LAND OF WOMEN and INTO THE WILD. As for Rob I only found two ( the same two I know tons of you have seen). One was really hot (The Haunted Airman) and the other was fine (The Bad Mother's handbook). The hot one was enough to convince me that their on screen kiss will be smoking hot. I think I've been waiting long enough to actually see Edward in action. The book can wait.

*see anytime Katie Holmes puts her mouth on ANYONE, Melissa Joan Heart and Adrian Grenier in DRIVE ME CRAZY and FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, the final kiss between Jason Segal and Kristen Bell. GAGGGGG it's gross!)

I cannot wait to be inside Edward's head for an entire book. It's like heaven just thinking about it... *sigh*

I'm excited about the movie too but I can wait for it. But I also want SM to take her time on MS, there is no way to rush through the complexity of Edward's mind

I am so psyched for MS, but I voted movie. Truly a very difficult question, but since I am getting obsessed with watching all of the interviews, videos, clips from the movie I had to vote movie. It looks like the movie has been cast perfectly, and the special effects look awesome. How can you argue with the Movie Poster...OME! It's pretty hot!

Oh man. I can't decide that! I want MS so bad! But then it will feel more "final", you know? At least we know for sure that someday it'll be published. And the movie just looks so rad- I just can't wait for it!

I wimped out and said movie. Since there is so much info on the movie on here, youtube, etc... I am dying to see how the movie turned out. (Mostly to watch Rob :<3:

) But I can not wait for MS. To find out more about Edward just makes me so excited.
