I'm so excited to feature our TM of the month, I'm bouncing like a baby! Mr. Green

Yes! That's right - may I present our lovely Sarahpat and her famous cherubic child, the one and only TwilightBABY!!!!

We all know this picture....

Isn't she so precious in her Easter Dress?

We've seen them chillin' and cavorting with (and getting bitten by) none other than the Twilight Movie cast on that fateful day when Twilighters everywhere were dark green with envy!

TB (TwilightBABY for you newcomers) getting snugly with our dear Emmett, Rosalie and Dr. Carlisle, and her mom, Sarah, truly putting her face down in the Twilighter history books by experiencing a delicious bite from Emmett Cullen! Shocked

Then TB, being the ambitious child that she is, had to "one-up" her mom and get bit (well, close enough Wink

) by the #1 vampire heartthrob of them all - Edward!! *sigh* I have never been so jealous of a baby before in my life! Shocked

I'm sure we all would all like to get to know them better! So sink your teeth into this.....

Interview with Sarahpat

Where did you grow up?

We moved around a lot as a child. My dad was a Dr. and served his residency in the army reserve. I was born in Texas, moved to So. Carolina when I was 18 months, and then on to Vernal, Ut. when I was 3, and Roosevelt, Ut when I was 10. But we moved to Tustin, CA (Southern CA) when I was 12 years old. Just in time for me to not become totally crazy in those small Ut towns! Wink

I consider myself a Californian.

What were you like as a small child/elementary school?

I was kinda shy, yet opinionated as a child. I guess I have hung on to that opinionated part. I liked being just a bit different. And in a small town, that is something that doesn't go over too well. I found my taste in music was out of the norm for small town elementary kids. I was into new wave - Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen, etc.. while everyone else was into Def Leopard and Bon Jovi, or they didn't really care about music yet. I had a good amount of friends, and I was average in my studies.

What were you like in jr.high/high school?

Living in CA was such a good thing for me, and at just the right time! Since I liked being just slightly different, I found that being the good little Mormon girl made me different (While in UT, it was the opposite.) I loved to sometimes wear kinda funky clothes. I had fun playing around with different styles. Maybe that is the Gemini in me. I found several different groups of friends. I had my church friends, my school friends, my cross-country friends, and my sister's and brother's friends. I didn't date a whole lot, just hung out with groups. I had a fairly normal, fun high school experience.

Did you ever date anyone that reminded you of Edward?

No. Not even remotely close. Sad

Well, I guess it is good because I was able to meet my husband and not hold him up to Edward standards, (which are impossible to compare to!)

Did you ever date anyone that reminded you of Jacob?

I guess in a way. I dated a guy that really was my good friend. It should have just stayed as a friendship, but when you hang out with someone all day everyday, it is natural for the relationship to turn in that direction. (I'm having an epiphany as I type, I shouldn't have been so surprised when Bella found that she actually had feelings for Jacob! I was right, she should have kept her distance! LOL!) My friend was a good guy, and he had a big smile - like Jacob.

Any college attended and if so, what were those days like for you?

I went to Irvine Valley Community College for my undergrad, and to Cal State Fullerton for my BS and my Teaching Credential. I'm kind of a home body, so it worked out well for me. I made lots of different kinds of friends in my classes and working at a preschool. I had some really fun times in college. Nothing too wild and crazy though.

How did you meet your husband?

I met him from that guy that I was dating that should have remained my friend. He was telling him to ask me out, so we could just be friends again. (What a good guy, eh? *insert eye roll here*) I kept seeing him, my husband, at these ska/punk shows I went to every weekend. And so finally he asked me if I wanted to go to one with him. Our first date was at a Suicide Machines show. I got soaking wet in the mosh pit and he jumped off the stage. I thought he was so hot! Needless to say, we dated and found we had a lot more in common like; rock climbing, camping, and outdoors type stuff. He is so easy going and laid back! Sometimes he is hard to read, because he is so nonchalaunt. He really balances me! He asked me to marry him just about a year after we started dating, after a Hep Cat show up off the Los Angeles Crest Hwy. (Right where they filmed the last day of shooting in CA!)

What was your wedding like?

I love Jane Austen, so I went for a kind of old fashioned type gown. It was empire waist straight and simple. I still love my dress! Wish I could fit into it now! LOL! We got married in San Diego and had our reception in Yorba Linda. We actually live a block away from where our reception was. I really wanted to have a swing band at my wedding, but my husband has no rhythm and I can't dance without a partner. (Someday, I will make him take swing dancing lessons with me!) We just celebrated our ten year anniversary. Wow, that went by fast!

Do you have any other kids besides TB?

We have 2 boys ages 7 and 4 1/2.
And TB will be 11 months this month.

The whole family on our family trip in Cancun! (This is the best picture we could get! Gosh it is hard to get everyone to smile at the same time! And just as this picture was taken, a huge wave came up and soaked us all!)

Any pets?

Well, we have 4 chickens. I know, I know! That sounds so weird! We knew that we weren't ready for a dog, and my husband is allergic to cats. Our kids kept begging for a pet. A friend of ours had some chickens and told us how easy they were. So we decided to get some for Easter. Well, we were only supposed to end up with 2 hens. But, long story short, we ended up with 4 hens. They haven't started laying eggs yet, but the kids do like them. But, my hubby needs to get them in a pen, cause they are so messy!

Describe your life now using 3 adjectives.

Tiresome, humbling, and joyful

What are your current hobbies, interests, etc?

Reading, playing on the computer, listening to music, and karaoke! Wink

What are your goals for the future?

I don't know so much about long term, but for this year; I hope to start getting more sleep at night in the near future, wean TB, help put together the BD release party for So Cal, and stand out on the red carpet for the premier of Twilight. I also plan on getting my house better organized! In long terms; I always planned on having 4 kids, but that is not so much in the cards for right now, but is still a possibility. Other than that, I try to remember that each day is precious and important. You never know what the future will be, I TRY to live in the present as much as I can remember to.

Where did you frequent on the net before finding us?

I never used the computer except to check my email and shop, before Twilight. I didn't know that these fan sites even existed! If I did, I probably would have been on a Lord of the Rings website, but I just wasn't as into anything else like I am Twilight! This year has been such an experience, and I am loving every minute of it!

What is your most embarrassing moment?

I can't think of my most embarrassing moment, but I noticed that anytime I started to think I was cool, I would trip in front of a cute guy! (I guess I have more in common with Bella than I thought!) Or like the time I thought everyone knew who TB was, and I introduced her to Stephenie Meyer (actually thinking that she might know something about it,) and she had no idea what I was talking about. Ya, THAT was embarrassing! (and humbling) LOL!!!

Bwahahah! Yesiree!! That would be embarrassing! Shocked

List some of the bands currently on your ipod.

I have the really big ipod, so every piece of music I own (and my friends Wink

) is on it. But my favorite band right now by far is Muse! I fell in love with them thanks to Stephenie! (cough **Mathew Bellamy IS Edward pounding away on his beautiful grand piano** cough. No, I don't get turned on by that at all!!! **insert blushing face here**) I also love The All American Rejects, OK Go, Jimmy Eat World, and all the old stuff I loved back in the day; I still love my new wave and ska/punk bands. I have always been pretty opinionated when it comes to music. I am kind of intolerant of country music unless Credence Clearwater Revival is country. I grew up on Neil Diamond and Abba! (I am going to the Neil Diamond concert in October, lol!) And I don't do hip hop, most pop or rap, except Beastie Boys. Does that go way beyond what you wanted to know, because I could talk about music forever!

Nope! That was a very interesting list. I'm like you - I could talk about music forever!

Any current books you are reading?

I am finishing City of Ashes, and am loving it! I have Dragon Haven on my list to be next. I am always reading one of the Twilight series books, currently Eclipse, and plan on revamping all of them before BD comes out. One month away! Woo-Hoo!!!!

What's one thing you thought you'd always do or be but never have?

Go to France. I took a lot of french in High School, of course I don't know how to speak it at all! But I have always wanted to go there!

What is the inside of your house like? Decorated? Organized? Spotless? Messy? Cluttered? Can't see the floor?

Partially decorated. The kitchen drawers are very organized because my husband has a cabinet making business, so he knows what kinds of cool drawer organizers to get. On a regular day, my house is messy with toys and baby stuff out. The office/spare room/craft room is totally cluttered! Anyone want to come over and help me organize it????

Sure! I love working on other people's homes, just not my own....

Interview with TwilightBABY!

How did you come into this world - were you an easy labor like your personality or a hard one?

When it was time for me to come into the world, I came as fast as I could! It was so fast that my mom didn't have enough time for the epidural to kick in, the nurse to have things ready, or the Dr. to even be there! They probably should have just stayed home, because I was born on the bed.

What is your favorite toy?

Right now the cool thing are the stairs. If I can get to them, I love to climb them whenever I can. But I need to make a mental note not to sit down half way up the stairs. That usually hurts pretty bad. I also really like the maracas and tambourine out of my brothers music set. Those are fun.

Favorite color?

Well, I guess my favorite colors would be pink, blue and red. I kind of have to like red since my room is decorated with red.

Favorite Food?

I know what I don't like anymore, and that is baby food! I am getting to old for that stuff! I want to eat what everyone else gets to eat! Especially my moms Cherry Coke Zero, but she doesn't let me drink that. Mostly, I like to eat crackers, bread and sand. Sand at the beach is very tasty!

Favorite Outfit? Pictures?

I really like to wear a swimming suit, because that usually means I get to go swimming! That is the best! My mom likes to dress me with headbands sometimes, but those are so annoying! I get those off as fast as I can! And dresses are pretty, but not practical for crawling, I always get stuck. I would really rather be naked! But I do have some clothes that gets me lots of attention. Hehe!

My brother dressed me up for fun and took a million pictures!

What do you think about Nikki aka Rosalie?

OMNikki! She is so cool! At first I felt kind of shy to meet her. But after getting to know her a bit better, I realized how cool she really is. She is just intimidating because she is so beautiful! I can't say that she is my bff, but we are pretty tight now! Wink

She is so fun and makes me laugh!

What do you think about Kellan aka Emmett?

Now Kellan, what can I say? He is the cutest, most friendly guy ever! He was so fun to talk to! He told me that he really likes my eyes! He has a very nice kiss, my cheeks will never be the same! Wink

Describe Rob/Edward's little love bite he was about to give you....

I love Robert! He is so funny and just the most gorgeous vampire I have ever met! I wish I could have hung out with him more! The love bite he was going in for was so funny! I wish he could have met my uncles! They would be crazy together! Very sarcastic! I love that about him!

Do you think he likes kids?

How could he not like kids after meeting me? Just kidding! I think that he does like kids and would be a cool dad! Though, I think he is young, wants to have fun, and make movies right now!

How has being the famous and first TB changed your life?

I get to have my picture taken at more Twilight events that my mom takes me too. And have more people goo and gaa over me! That is fun! I also loved the TB action figure, but I mostly wanted to eat it, not just look at it! I have grown up staring at the Twilight books and the TwilightMOMS website, and have been to all of the Twilight gatherings that my mom has been to, so it has been cool. If I had to stay home with dad, he wouldn't know what to do with me! I would have been bored, not to mention.... hungry!

What will you do with your fame from here?

I hope to one day I will be able to read these books for myself and understand what the big deal really is! But eventually, I hope to just settle back into my regular life and just be a regular baby. If I could help change the world with my smile, I would! LOL!!!

You never know, TB....you just might change the world one day, you just might. Very Happy

TB with a real chimpanzee! She is smiling. It looks like she is crying, but the sun is in her eyes. She had time to get used to the monkey! Yes, I have endangered my daughter with wild (not really wild) animals, and vampires! Don't call social services on me! Wink

Hahaha! But they were nice vampires and chimps so I think we will let it slide. Wink

My first real day looking at TwilightMoms I found the thread about your experience at the movie set. I was soooo jeolous because it was all over for months before I even knew about it. It's great to hear more about you and about TB! You have a beautiful family and I hope when TB gets older she appreciates the amazing moments she has already had in her life. Very Happy

Thanks everyone for you nice comments! I now know what Shimmerskin meant by this interveiw being her most embarrassing moment. I'm so embarrassed by some things I said. I feel like I have to write a disclaimer so you all know that I'm not a closed minded, snob. Well, I hope that I'm not! Embarassed

When I say that I'm opionated, I mean mostly when it comes to music. I consider myself to be really open minded about most things. I just know what I like and what I don't like. And when I was young, I had no problem letting everyone know those things! I've matured since then. Rolling Eyes

Also, I graduated with my teaching credential, and then 3 weeks later, our first son was born. I have been a stay at home mom ever since! I have loved it so much, and wouldn't have it any other way for our family!

Another thing I didn't tell you all about was WHY I married my husband. He is not Edward, but he has some wonderful qualities similar to both Edward and Jacob - yes, he is almost a full werewolf since he is covered in hair! LOL!! And he is my personal heater! In the summertime that is not such a good thing, but I love it in the winter! But seriously, he is the sweetest thing! He is not one to be gushy and poetic, but he certainly is thoughtful, and considerate! He pays attention to what I need and want, and is always there with whatever it may be. No matter how small or large it may be. He is such a good dad! And that is why I married him! I wanted someone who would play with his kids! He loves to do fun things with the boys, and his little girl melts his heart! I love that he is so easy going and laid back! It really helps me when I get worked up about something! Truely, he is my better half!

There you have it! I hope I can get over my self consciousness, and enjoy this moment! I love my TwilightMOMS sistas! I have been so happy to be apart of this site! Hugs to all!!! Very Happy

Sarah! Congratulations!! What a happy surprise this was. I love your family photo on the beach. Your three little towheads are just so sweet, with their hair as pale as that sand...are their eyes as blue as that sea?

Hey, I grew up on Neil Diamond, too. My mom was and is a huge Neil fanatic so I was exposed from early on. I went to his concert at ASU's Gammage Hall when I was a freshman in college, it was a wonderful experience. My grandmother gave me a ticket for my 18th birthday and I went by myself. I sure didn't expect to see many people my age there, but there was a multitude! Go, Neil!

I need you to PM me your maiden name and what ward you were in when you lived in Tustin, because I'm pretty sure our paths (or yours and my friends' or relatives') must have crossed. Can we sing "It's a Small World" now?

Now, you're going to be getting The Crown from our first-ever Twilight Dad (as soon as he remembers what drawer he hid it in for the entire month of June), but what do we do about TB's? We already know she doesn't care for headbands....But she'll wear little floppy hats, right? Maybe we could do a sparkly, blingy version, call it the Glam-Tam....
