Indiana Moms

Hi everyone. My name is Marie and I just joined this weekend.

I live in Indiana, Fishers to be exact. I was so happy to see there were some of you who live in this state and even more excited that there are some who live in Fishers.

Has anyone ever gotten together and meet one another? Are there plans to do this? Like a book meeting or something? If this has been already discussed let me know as I have not had a lot of time to look at what has been posted in this particular forum. I got so happy to see TM moms from Indiana I wanted to say hey.

Just a little about my self...I moved to Indiana about 2 years ago after my divorce. I have a five year old little girl and work for a medical device company in Indianapolis.

So what kind of things is discussed in this particular forum?

Got to go put the little one to bed, I look forward to talking and getting to know all of you all.

Hi Marie!! Welcome to TMs!! I'm right here in Fishers, too. We have had one get together up in Kokomo. You can go HERE to see a few photos. No one has mentioned another get together but I'd be up for it....especially since I've finished The Host and would love to talk about it! :-)

Hi Marie! Welcome! I'm from Noblesville and was part of the Kokomo get together, too. So glad to have another Hamilton County TM! I'm always up for another meet and greet. I also just finished The Host and would love to talk about it or the Twilight series. I can't stop watching the trailer to the movie!!!!! Rob is SO GREAT as Edward!!!!!!

Oh I would so love to get together to discuss the Host. I feel a little ashamed so saying this but I just started it today...had to take a break from it do to my daughter demanding attention. And I do have so many questions...I'm only on chapter 2. I guess I should shut down my computer and get to reading huh!

Regarding the trailer...I am right there with you Kellee! I love Kirsten as Bella...just saw her in “In The Land of Women” and loved her! And Robert...well i just wish I was 10 years younger.

How do we go about getting a group of us together to discuss the Host and the Twilight books? I am a little bias as i would like it to be near where I live just because I don't have a much family around to help out with my daughter. May be like a once a month book discussion or something like that.

I would love to organize something. I have been dying to talk about Stephanie’s worlds for a while now, with people my age!

I live in Sheridan, but work close to Fishers...in Castleton! :lol:

I sure hope we do get together again since I missed all the fun last time! :cry:

Hey Marie ~ the last time we got together, Queen threw out some dates and we all settled on one. Meeting in Fishers is fine with me. My "little one" is 17, so I have no childcare restraints. Feel free to suggest some times and places that work for you. We'll see who can join us. One caution ~ when we get down to deciding the actual when and where, we PM each other (send a private message) for safety and privacy. Hope we can organize something soon!

My DH has been talking about reading the books. If I get him on the ball and start him off with The Host and Twilight, would anybody mind if I invited him along?

Well there certainly seems to be an interest in getting together here in central Indiana. How about I open a new topic list the dates listed by all of you and go from there.

Give me a like 1/2 an hour as my little one is demanding something to drink before bed.
