I am sure that either of their scents would be intoxicating. I am also pretty certain that upon the first deep breath...allowing the scent to linger in the air I would be out cold and the next thing i would be smelling would be icky smelling salts. Or perhaps mouth to mouth from one of them would be needed. Ohhhh wait...Jacob is to young for me...so in that case Edward will do just fine

I haven't read through this thread but to me Edward smells like Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret. IT isn't girly, it is musky and schmexy but sweet and when I wear it random people smell me. _________________ "I prefer brunettes." - Edward Cullen

When I close my eyes and sniff... (does that sound so wrong???)...
Edward smells like Joop Homme. Oh my GAWD - I can smell that stuff a mile away. Every time it hits my nose, I have to stop and figure out who is wearing it so that I can check them out. Seriously.
Jacob smells like Pinesol. Oh wait.. oops. Sorry. LOL! Kidding. To me he smells very woodsy mixed with a little bit of sweat - not heavy sweat but when you first start to sweat. _________________

Has anyone heard of the chap stick called Softlips? I always get the cherry flavored one and it's a perfect Edward scent! It has a fresh, clean, cool, and very sweet smell to it. It even smells and feels like it's cold! And, of course, since it's chap stick, you can put it right on your lips and inhale it! Mmmm it's my favorite chap stick these days.

I've been using Softlips for years. I always buy the vanilla. If you apply the vanilla, and put a mint breathsaver in your mouth, then exhale with your mouth slightly open, it's like kissing Edward must taste, smell, and feel. _________________ "You're not going to budge me on this."

resurrecting this because it's such a neat thought...hmm. i think edward would smell like something cool and crisp, but with a warm romantic undertone. sort of like clean linen wrapped in roses and musk...a scent that gives you a slight chill at first, but then intoxicates you with its warmth.
jacob would smell..woodsy. like a wood burning stove smells when the smoke billows up into the air after a good long early spring rain. _________________

This might be off-topic, but as I read BD and the description of the wedding, I wanted a book that was maybe a "scratch and sniff" version. I was dying to smell what she smelled! For any marketers out there, developing a Twilight-inspired line of colognes and candles/air fresheners would be a sure-fire hit!
As for Edward, I always think of a citrus smell, but with a hint of mint for that cold and clean sensation.
Jacob? Absolutely, a campfire in the pine trees after a cleansing rain.
(This thread makes me so sad--my boss is hypersensitive and allergic to all scents, so I can't use anything that has a hint of fragrance! I'm dying to smell all these colognes that were referred to!) _________________

The other day a caught a whiff of something sweet and delicious in the air. I could not figure out what it was. I kept breathing in deeply and trying to figure out where it was coming from. I couldn't. It smelled so wonderful, and it made my mouth water. I imagine that Edward smells just like that.

Edward would smell like clean linen, vanilla, ocean spray, and maybe something like passion fruit or mango. I'm weird I know. lol
Jacob would smell like dune grass, a campfire, and the forest after it rains.
