If the host is really oneday made into a movie, we have to start a petition for Kellan. I mean, hello? There´s nobody that fits better and it would be a pleasure to see more from him than just the muscle-playing big brother... Besides, he can play with his muscles, too. As Ian, the whole movie long 
Sorry, but I think besides Edward, I´ve got a little crush on Kellan.

lol... totally!! emmett has always been my favourite man besides Edward and Jacob.. and in the casting in the movie?? Kellan is my favourite next to rob!!! PETITION FOR KELLAN!!! lol...

And Pet/Wanda...I thought about a thousand ones for this one...Willa Holland, but I can only see her as a manipulating devil of a little sister because of The OC, then Taylor Momsen, but the same thing apply, only on gossip girl, so I remembered I loved the idea of AnnaSophia Robb, and Pet is just about to turn 17, and i thought it fit perfectly, because no one can help but want to protect her...
and there you have it...the smaller parts I haven't decided yet...maybe Natalie Portman for Jodi, but i only got there so far |
Yes!!! Good choices!!! They all fit perfectly! I really like Josh Hutcherson for Jaime! I like your choice for Pet, but I had Hayden Panettiere in my head....

wow, this is a good group too! i kinda like josh as jared better. yeah, i know what you mean -- i saw james mc avoy in the trailer of his movie with angelina jolie, and yes, and i feel he's kind of small for the part of ian. great casting here!

Sooo I am not going to read through all the posts BUT when i was picturing the book in my head I pictured 2 different actresses for Mel and Wanda. I mean they have to look very similiar, but I kind of saw it (movie style) as a convo between two people that no one else sees. Anyone else know what I mean? Like the scene where Ian realizes she is arguing with her, you can see the change on her face (this would be the actress playing Wanda say Natalie Portman as the original person posted) then in the scenes where Wanda and Mel argue in different scenes you see both women (Natalie Portman vs Kira Knightely say) not that I am saying they should play the parts but they do look similar enough to work. I mean I know they are the same person but for theatrical reasons. I think if it were a movie then it would look and sound better with two actresses to play the parts. I just think inner mon. and vo's wouldn't work. It could even be done by twins, not perfect identical ones because then it looks like we are playing the parent trap or Sci Fi.
And I think the Anna Sophia Robb for Pet is PERFECT.. WOW.

I have to agree with one of the earlier posts..... I totally think that James Marsden could be Ian!!!!
Then, Eddie Cahill could be Kyle...they have similar looks.

Y'all have some good casting choices. However, this weekend I rented the movie Bella and was introduced to the actor Eduardo Verastegui. He may be mexican but has the perfect "black irish" look.
Just one pic would never due for a man of his luscious goodness. Here's a whole youtube clip.

great choices for the cast. if the host does get made into a movie, they are going to have to get one heck of a screenwriter & director to be able to pull off the wanderer/mel dynamic.
