I've been thinking about it, and I really REALLY enjoyed the chapter of The Host that Stephenie posted--which has given me very mixed feelings. Now, I don't know if I want to read the whole book.
Before you think I'm nuts, let me explain why. I was (lucky?) to discover the Twilight series just before Eclipse came out. That meant I finished Twilight and had New Moon just waiting for me. When I'd finished that, I had Eclipse to look forward to. But now I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for Breaking Dawn . . . and I can't stand it! I'm an addict with no smack available! It's like Harry Potter all over again!
I'm not sure I can take another series that is going to torment me for years! Part of me asks if it would be better to wait until all the books are out!
Of course, I don't have that kind of self control, but AAGGGGHHH!! Does Stephenie know what she's doing to me??? _________________

I think I read somewhere that The Host is suppose to be three books. I'd try to find it but I'm in need of a nap big time lol.
Even though the Twilight Saga isn't over yet, I still read it even though it was an incomplete series. But with being in the HP world waiting for the next book, I've learned patience and fanfic while waiting for the next book lol.

I think that reading The Host may help a lot while you wait for Breaking Dawn. I'm desperate for Breaking Dawn too. August seems so far away. And I feel a little scared too but think of it as gaining a new Edward. Imagine the possibilities.

I think that Stephenie Meyer is such a talented writer and for that reason I am looking forward to The Host. I read the intro on her webpage, but I didn' t like how it skipped to chapter 4. I felt a little too lost. I think, if for no other reason, that I will enjoy it because it means BD will be out soon after! _________________ "Bella," he murmured, his voice warm and velvet. "Do you want to do that part?" I asked, confused.

I'm thrilled and excited at the thought that The Host could go the way of the Twilight series. Imagine all the fun continuing but instead of 1 series to obsess about, we will have 2 _________________ "Children are the anchors of a mother's life"-Sophocles

I feel the same way about The Host. I love SM's writing style and am so excited shes writing other things. However I really do feel like I would be cheating lol, how silly is that. Ive only recently been into reading so I have plenty of books on my list to keep me occupied til BD and The Host comes out. Parts of me really wishes that I didnt know what Twilight was so I could go pick up the entire series with out the long wait inbetween books. luckily I discovered the series when all three books were out as well. Anyways, I have no doubt I will read The Host eventually but Im not sure when. I did preorder it, but may not even open it til after Twilight the movie comes out. I dont think I could handle two obsessions at once lol. _________________ Take care of my heart, I left it with you~Edward Cullen

You have willpower girl! I don't think I can wait. I think I will be like a little kid on Christmas morning with all of the presents in front of me ready to be torn open! _________________ "Children are the anchors of a mother's life"-Sophocles
