How did you pick your callname?

i picked mine simply becuase i took the first 3 letters of my oldest sons name then i took my youngest sons name combined them and stuck mom on the end.

What a fun thread! I've wondered this about people's usernames, too, and it was a saga figuring mine out... I wanted to do something appropriate for the books, but I wanted my name to tell a little bit about me, too. I had a long list of ideas... like, at least 30 names. I finally e-mailed my husband one day at lunchtime to say, Okay, I know you think I'm silly, but here are my top 10 - which one should I use? I want to do this right, because when will I ever join a forum again?? Very Happy

One of the names was MyEdwardisaJosh, which I decided to use for my signature instead--and my sweet husband has started signing his e-mails to me "MyBellaisaJinani" and "MyJinani'sEdwardlookslikeme." Smile

Jinani was the only one is both his top three and mine, so that's what I went with. You know how when you take foreign language classes you often pick a name for yourself in that language? Jinani is my Arabic name, and it still fits well in the Twilight universe because it means "my heart and soul." It's been a little while since I answered to it--Josh is the only one who uses it now (besides you guys), and he doesn't use it very often--but it has worked out very well for me here. Smile

My avatar is Wanderer, from toward the end of The Host; you can't see the text very well, but it says "It's a strange world." I need to link it to Photobucket instead of my own computer, so you can see it better. I got it off of this site, which I loooooove. I love The Host!

FUN! I picked my name from my dogs (my kids). We have two Siberian Huskys Koda and Akura and one black lab, Mac... so... kodakuramac! Thanks for starting this topic! I've wondered this same thing!

The vamp is from vampires, of course. I have always read and been fascinated with vampires since I was young. The girl is because I will never grow up. As for the 9, my hubby picked it out.

Great thread!!

Mine is a song title: Kelly Clarkson. I went to her concert with Reba McIntire in KC a couple of days before I signed on, and wanted something that would stand out. I love the irony of the title, and I love the lyrics of the song; reminds me of how Bella thinks of Edward early on.

I love finding out about everyones names.

I had been thinking about my name for a few days because I wanted something to do with the series and I knew I wouldn't get to change my name once I chose it. Actually my husband came up with the name “sweetblood” for me. I have always been a mosquito magnet. Hate them! And many times family and friends have teased me about being so sweet or having sweet blood; that’s why the mosquitoes like me. We were outside one evening eating dinner and a mosquito was drawing nearer and nearer. My husband teased me by saying, “It’s just your sweet blood Bella.” Melt my heart! So now he has a new pet name for me and I have my username.

My avitar is obviously me wanting to be in Bella's place with Edward. *sigh*

I was one day trying to find a call name that didn't include numbers, and another one of my call names was suggested. This one is another variation of that original call name. No meaning really.

Mine is pretty self-explanatory, and I use it everywhere (or fitmom2six if mom2six is taken) There really is another mom2six out there that messes with my fun every now and then! Wink

But, yes. I am a mom of 6 beautiful children. Although some say that the "six" part sounds like something else when I say it. I've gotten in the habit of speaking VERY clearly!! Laughing

Mine is obvious -- I picked who I wished I was in the books! Also, I have used this screen name for most everything since I first read these books, so it is easy for me to remember.

Actually, by the time I discovered this site I was quite surprised it was available on here.

Mine is nothing original. Actually, I was rather surprised no one had it yet. I love NASCAR racing and Rusty Wallace was my favorite driver. Well, I didn't want to go with Rusty because it didn't fit Twilight. I also am a Jacob fan, not that I don't love Edward. So kinda combining the two, russetwolf just popped into my head.
