I just finished the book and for me Hareton is the best character in the story. Heathcliff, Linton and Hareton were all dealt a bad hand growing up. Hareton is the only won who was able to rise above it all. The love between Hareton & Cathy is the only true love I saw in the story. _________________

Definitely a redeeming character. It's good to have someone that overcomes and conquers his circumstances. Heathcliff definitely had his flaws. _________________ The lofty bookshelves sag under thousands of sleeping souls-silent, hopeful. Every time I open a book, a soul is awakened.
