MEXCIO....I went there once...Cancun...had the BEST vacation ever. The water there is a blue color you will find NOWHERE else...Have a wonderful time...

I got the details of my pay increase for my new job and let me just say that it is rather exciting, even in England, then I get to be more excited when I can double to tell my family how much I'll make in dollars! haha

i have a job offer from a multinational advertising agency to be a full-time in-house producer, and i've just very recently accepted the offer! i'm looking forward to it as its a very challenging job, and i will have lots of opportunities to travel around asia to work directly with my advertising counterparts and associates in the region.

Wow, that sounds exciting, and I get the feeling it was exactly what you were looking for. Is that right?
Where are the hubs you'll be traveling to? My son has been to Macau and Hong Kong and had a splendid time in each (though of the two he preferred Macau best); he's anxious to get back to Asia. Now, will you also be going to South Pacific areas like Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand?

yes! you're right shimmer, it was exactly what i was looking for.
i'll be traveling mostly to bangkok, thailand as that's where the regional offices of some of the agency's clients are. there will be trips to singapore and hongkong as well.
i have yet to find out about going to the South Pacific, although i know that trips to australia are also made on occasion.
it's a good to know that your son wants to get back to asia.  macau is great, but i prefer hongkong to macau for the simple reason that there's a greater variety of places to go to and things to do in hongkong. it's actually one of my most favorite vacation places here in asia. i'd also highly recommend singapore, ho chi minh, shanghai and beijing to your son. bangkok is a good place to go to as well because of the food (i love thai food!!) and the shopping.
