My baby, 20 yrs. old, just returned from her first road trip to Cape Cod, Mass. Safe and sound...

Wonderful news...First let me preface this with saying that I have a very malfunctioning left eye. I have had several surgeries, laser treatments, etc.

Well, anyway...One of my eye specialists feels that their still might be a way to somewhat improve my vision in that eye, I am elated and very, very grateful.

Joanne Maria - YAY!!! It must be so hard to have eye problems. I guess that is one of the thousands of things we take for granted until something goes wrong. I really hope that your specialist can help your vision improve (and soon so you can read BD when it comes out in a month YAY).

Joanne Maria, keep us posted about your eye. That is GREAT news! Is that your picture in your avatar? Some other great news for you is if that is your picture, you look great for having a baby that is 20! My baby is 3 and I would hate to think what my picture would look like in the avatar box Rolling Eyes

ROTFLOL...That is my picture of when I was Bella's age. There is a recent photo of me in one of the NY MOM's outing threads. I am in the process of getting my hands on a camera so that I can get a decent current photo and change the avatar.

As for keeping you up with "THE EYE" it is a long and ongoing process, but I will let you know when anything happens. THANK YOU

I just have to shamefully post this other tid bit of good news . . .

This is my 100th post!!!!!!!! I think I'm past my newborn transformation now. It wasn't that painful and it only took 4 1/2 days. Almost like a real vampire Laughing

Joanne, prayers and blessings to you. I think any lack in your physical vision is more than made up for by your inner vision.

Everybody else, Joanne looks now pretty much like she does in that photo! She's a tiny, dark-haired sprite, she could be Alice's great-niece.

I pre-ordered my copy of Breaking Dawn! Very Happy

I got my eyebrows done today, which that is good news because they needed it. Anyway, the girl asked if I wanted to make my next appointment since I always wait so long. She told me to go for 4 weeks which I thought seemed a little bit too soon to have to go back. I told her I wanted it to be a Saturday and the girl looked on the computer and said, "That will be on Aug. 2nd." I squealed right there when I realized it's almost 4 weeks away! and then I proceeded to tell her about the books. It's so close! yet so far away
That's my good news, sorry so long.

Good news! YAY! My husband and I are going on the first trip being married and we chose to go on a Mexican cruise with my brother and sister in law. I can't even form into words how excited I am! It's going to be a good year!
