Another piece of Twilight movie history-Exclusive TMI onset pictures.
A scene from Twilight involving Bella, Charlie, and several Forks High students was filmed at the cozy and quaint Carver Café. And to answer your question, no you are not crazy; this is not a part of the book. It is however an important and pivotal scene in the movie that shows the conflict Bella is feeling over her not-so-normal relationship with Edward. It is also the place she bonds with Charlie.
Carver Café is located in the heart of the small town of Carver, Oregon. The area is surrounded by emerald green forests and the beautiful Clackamas River. It truly is a hometown café. Somewhere Charlie would go to have coffee and pie while on patrol for the Forks Police Department.
The café’s name will remain the same for the movie despite that it is supposed to be in
Forks, WA. The inside was completely renovated for the movie and the owners are keeping the interior the same way it looked for the actual shoot. The pictures on the walls are real antique pictures of Forks, WA used in the movie.
The café serves the best and biggests breakfasts all day long, and home-style lunches like soup, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. The owners Sara and Kris are friendly, the food is great and they are always glad to have new faces visit them along with the “regulars”. The café's hours are Mon-Fri 7am-2pm, Sat 7-3, and Sun 8-3. Mention you saw them on TwilightMOMS.com. They are happy to talk about the movie with fans and can even direct you to Charlie and Bella's "special" table. "She came to [shoot] the coffee shop [scene], and she orders a vegetarian plate," revealed director Catherine Hardwicke. "Of course, the joke is that [some of] the vampires are vegetarian vampires. Our vampires don't eat humans — they eat deer and animals — so that's a little inside joke."

Since the shoot I have taken two groups of TwilightMOMs to the cafe for breakfast. The staff is so awesome and the food is to die for. I had a greek omlette and then yesterday I had blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. OME was it tasty, and huge. It could have been two meals. Everyone enjoyed their food and the atmosphere of the cafe. Both times we sat at Charlie and Bella's table. So fun. The owners also gave us a prop from the movie, the newspaper Charlie reads while he is sitting in the cafe. We got some great pictures of us TM holding the paper in the cafe and will be posting those soon.
