| I can't commit at this point because I never know what's going to be going on in my research that far in advance, but as of right now that weekend works fine for me. =-)

That would work for me - unless something comes up in the next few months. _________________

I might be out of town that weekend, we are still waiting for the event to be formally scheduled, but if I am in town, I am definitely in. I live in Chicagoland, so it's not a problem for me.
(I love the idea of celebrating Edward's birthday!) _________________

Near Wrigleyville in Chicago. It's in a nice, safe area and right next to the Mercury Theater. immortalbeloved discovered it for us and also posted some driving directions from various locations at this link: http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.org/do-we-have-enough-people-for-a-meet-up-t2645-15.html
I'm trying to convince the hubby to make a detour next month when we start heading down for Cubs games. I'll let everyone know what it's like, but from the online reviews and the few pictures I could find, it seems to be a cool place. _________________

I have five more from the WI/IL group who will come if their schedules stay open. I will PM all interested parties at the beginning of June to finalize the details.
mcr and EsmeM48 are fimilar with the city if anyone needs help. Esme48 said
Cullen's Bar & Grill isn't far from Wrigley Field (in Wrigleyville).
I hope we can all make it, I am looking forward to meeting everyone!
Here are some driving alternatives for WI/IL folks - links for Amtrak and Metra services into Chicago and CTA transit services in the city.
Metra starting from Kenosha, WI
Amtrak from Milwaukee
Map for the L (Chicago)

We love that you are planning meets but we also want our Mom's to be safe. Once you decide on a date, time and place please remember to keep meet dates, times and places private by using PM's Have fun!! _________________

That would be great! I wonder if Edward ever went to a Cubs game?

I would love to join provided the date works out!
I don't know if you checked or not but it would be best to make sure the date you have scheduled isn't the day of an at home Cubs game. Otherwise parking in the area would be hard to find and expensive.

I called Cullens to ask them about logistics of having a meet up on a game day. However - DUH to me - it's St. Patricks's Day and Cullens Irish Bar and Grill is a *little* bit busy today, so the woman asked me to call back tomorrow. I'm absolutely certain that we can work something out. immortalbeloved, since you are the one keeping the PM list for the actual meet up invitation, I'll PM the information to you and you can include it when you send the PMs out to everyone with the actual meet up time and place.
PS - I like to think that Edward was a Cubbies fan. _________________

Well either way it wouldn't be a problem for me. I can walk there is worse comes to worse or take the L.
I might have to go scope Cullen's out in advance. I've been reading reviews of it and checking out the pictures and it sounds like a place I might like.
