Austin area Movie premiere **updated**

Okay Austin area TM's, we are planning a movie premiere @ the Alamo Draft House-Lake Creek Location.
Right now we're the only theater in the area who's planning on a Midnight Release. BUT we're waiting on approval from Summit, as Summit has to approve these. Currently we've got two venues we can rent. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance, to make sure the seats fill up and the costs are covered. This will not include food. The food will be ordered just as food is always ordered at the Draft House.

Seating-right now the two venues we have hold 144 seats and 176. Once the seats are full, they're full.

Please spread the word, so we can make sure we fill the seats.

This event is closed to the public, meaning it's not being advertised to the general public. It's a private event for TM's and those we invite. If for some reason the midnight release isn't approved, then we'll still have our own screening the day it opens. We're working on some fun things for the party and looking forward to having everyone there.

IF you want to attend, please leave a comment here so I can keep track of the head count. Please feel free to PM me with any questions, suggestions etc.

I'll keep updating this with more info as I get it, like the cost and so forth.

My neighbor and I were planning on going that day (while hubbies were at work). But we didn't have much else decided.

My sis and I are definitely going. Her birthday is the day after the movie comes out! I might even take the day off work...

That sounds like fun. I am about 2 1/2 hrs away from central Austin. Anyone out there in the suburbs?

I'm in North Austin... so I guess Great Hills and the Alamo that's on 183 and Anderson Mill. Are we doing a midnight party (if theaters do a midnight party, and I figure they will) or a release day/Saturday party? What works best for everyone?
