Hi - You welcomed me the the other day. I live in Turtle Lake, ND. If you don't know where that is, it is one hour from Bismarck and one hour from Minot, pretty much right in the middle of both. I am a transplant however. I'm a native Oklahoman. We have only lived in ND for a little over two years. We moved here for my husbands job. I'm a teacher and a grad student (newly accepted into grad school - yeah!). An older student who is also a friend introduced me to Twilight in April and I was instantly addicted. She neglected to tell me however that the fourth book does not come out until August. I've only just recently forgiven her - ha ha. Anyway, sorry to have written so much. I'm glad we are not totally alone in the state. Hope to talk to you more sometime. Bridget

I am also not from here. I'm from Florida. My husband is in the AF so we are up here at the base. We've only been here about a year. I don't feel so lonely now!!!

Glad I could help. My best friend is from Florida (she is there right now visiting her family, she's been gone for 3 weeks and I'm about to go crazy). She also now lives in ND across the street from me. I used to work on Tinker AFB in OKC, OK. It was fun. I taught at the school there. The military life is like a whole other world. I think it would be tough for me to be moved around so much. Moving here and leaving my family in OK was the hardest thing I've ever done. It's a good thing I love my husband so much, maybe I should remind him of that more often. Anyway, I understand the feeling of being alone very well. This whole town is like one giant "clique" of people who have known each other their whole lives. It is very hard to fit in, especially for an outsider who has nothing in common with them. It was so much easier in OK, because my whole family is there - build in friends. Oh well, sorry for rambling - Anytime you want to visit let me know. You can PM me or I'll give you my email or we can just visit on here. Apparently we are all alone in ND (for now). Talk to you later, Bridget

The only people I have met are all new people in town like me. You should check out meetup.com or MSN groups and see if there are any groups that meet up by you. Not all of them are about kids, I joined one group on each and that has helped a lot. I just read that SM's tour schedule for BD is being released tomorrow on Twilight Tuesdays, but I doubt she will come to ND. I really wanted to go to the Host signing at MoA, but we couldn't get there until the next week since DH had class. Jen

Hey Jen - How are you? I've seen you around the forum but haven't talked to you in awhile. I also love to check out SM's website and keep tabs on MTV Twilight Tuesdays. I keep pretty busy with the forum, reading every book I can get my hand on and watching the Charmed series (I just finished season 1 and am waiting for the others to arrive from Amazon). I never watched it when it was on tv but my sister talked me into watching and I really enjoy it - it's fun. I wasn't able to make SM's tour in Minn either. The only time I ever even go to Minn is when I fly through Minneapolis on my way home to Oklahoma. I would love to got to the Mall of America though - one day I will. I like your new pic., very nice. Anyway, now that I've rattled on, I'll let you go and talk to you later. Blessings, Bridget

I love Charmed!!! I watched it from beginning to end when it was on, so did my husband. I have seen it in repeats so many times, I know them by heart practically! I like the show a lot better starting in season 3 when Prue is gone. I like Rose McGowan much better.

I'll keep that in mind when I get to season 3. I've heard varying opinions about some people liking it better when Prue was on and some liking it better when Paige was on - I guess I'll have an opinion when I get there and see. I'm glad you liked the show - now that I'm watching I'm finding lots of people who loved it.
Have a great day - see you around.
Blessings, Bridget
