Links to fanfics are not allowed.

ONLY Twilight and Host themed products are allowed to be advertised in a post in the "Vampire and Alien Apparel & Decor" forum. Nowhere else!

Links that are allowed in Avatars and Signatures are:

-Links to official TwilightMOMS Affiliates.
-Links to content within TwilightMOMS.com and TwilightMOMS forums.

There have been some questions raised and I wanted to make some clarifications.

First, I want to make it clear that it's not the links I'm trying to get a handle on so much, but it's the act of advertising in the avatars and signatures.

Definition of "Advertise" as per www.webster.com:

1: to make something known to : notify
2 a: to make publicly and generally known <advertising> b: to announce publicly especially by a printed notice or a broadcast c: to call public attention to especially by emphasizing desirable qualities so as to arouse a desire to buy or patronize : promote
intransitive verb
: to issue or sponsor advertising <advertise>

This is the definition I am going by. So even UN-linkable web addresses are not allowed in avatars and signatures.

HOWEVER:
If there is anything you would like to link to off site remember that you can go to your profile and put the link in the space for "website". A button with the letters www will appear below every post you make. When people click on that button it will automatically take them to your website or wherever you linked to.

You can use that option to link to anything you want. Well... except pictures of nekkid people, of course.

Linking to anything within the forums or twilightmoms.com is perfectly acceptable in signatures no matter what the thread is that you're linking to. And linking to any of the TwilightMOMS official affiliates is fine too.
