Just wondering if anyone has any cute Valentine's Day traditions that they do with their husband, children or friends?

My kids look forward to the "heart path" that I lay down after they've gone to bed. It's a path of die cut hearts that lead from their beds to the kitchen table. They will find heart-shaped pancakes and a little Valentine treat at their place. We usually have dinner together at night--we light candles and drink out of goblets. Even if it's pizza and soda, the kids think it's a blast.

Happy Valentine's Day to all! :D

That sounds so cute. I takes everything out of me to get my Hubby into the big big holidays. Maybe I will have to add 1 or 2 smaller holiday traditions a year.

That does sound sweet!!

For my kids I always make sure to leave out a their Valentines treats and the cards on the table so they can get their Valentines in the morning. We have something yummy for breakfast - today it was Krispy Kreme Donuts :D

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!! :D

Chocoholic, I love your idea so cute.

I also do the "romantic dinner" with the kids & hubby. Candles, champagne glasses (with sparkling cider). I always make a yummy meal that my whole family loves and we only have it on Valentine's day so that makes it special. Oh and we always have pink iced heart shaped sugar cookies for dessert.

I did make heart shaped pancakes for breakfast also.

Chocoholic, you are too cute! We aren't huge on this holiday, but I remember my mom making pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast on V-day. I did that a couple of times. My kids thought it was weird last year.

 Geez....I feel like a horrible mom now. I send my kid away to my parent's house for the night, to spend some "quality time" with my hubby....

I feel like a jerk now.

This Valentine's Day, when my kids woke up, they had a heart scavenger hunt. One said " Go to the place where Mommy and Daddy catch some zzz's." Then, "Go to the place where we go wee." :D "Go to the place where the ironing boaord lives" "Go to the place where we eat our meals". This lead them to the kitchen which was decorated with teo heart shaped mylar balloons, heart shaped plates, and "Love Muffins" for breakfast. Each of my kids had a special, small, new toy at there plate.

In addition, on Valentine's Day we have a "Love Night". I make a heart shaped pizza out of a Boboli made pizza crust. I slice marachino cherries in half and decorate the edge of the cake after it's baked. In addition, I make everything else we eat red: spaghetti, red jello, sliced apples, and of course red milk in wine glasses. The table is decorated with red place mats, cute heart decorated plates, and red napkins. My husband usually buys me some pretty flowers that also decorate the table.

After we eat and enjoy our Love Dinner, we decorate a heart shaped cake with little paper hearts that have things we love about each other written inside. I tape the paper hearts onto toothpicks and stick them into the cake. Then I keep the little hearts as a keepsake forever.

It was such a fun Valentine's Day!!! I just love showing my love and making the day very special and memorable for my whole family!
I'd upload a picture, but I don't know how to do that.
